  • To provide, support, personalize, and develop our Platform and Analyst Services.
  • To personalize your Website experience and to deliver content, product and service offerings relevant to your interests, including targeted offers and ads at some point in the future through our Website, third-party sites, and via email or text message (with your consent, where required by law).

Electronic Forms

BSN provides the tele-learning services to participants who and enter into an BSN Service Agreement (“you, users, clients”). You are responsible for determining uses and disclosures of your information uploaded to our Platform, in accordance with your legal and professional responsibilities, state and federal medical privacy laws. To the extent that BSN receives or maintains user information, that information is secured, used and disclosed in accordance with our policies and terms of service. The data we collect from you will be stored for no longer than necessary. The length of time we retain said information will be determined based upon the following criteria, the length of time your personal information remains relevant; the length of time it is reasonable to keep records to demonstrate that we have fulfilled our duties and obligations; any limitation periods within which legal purposes; or recommended by regulators, the type of agreement we have with you, the existence of your consent, and our legitimate interest in keeping such information as stated in the Policy.

3. Opting out of Marketing Communication

All users and visitors to our website have the option to discontinue receiving communications from us by way of email or newsletters when we make these offerings.   • Important communications: we may use your personal information to send important communications, e.g. about your purchase or to access to software, services, material changes to our EUILA, terms, conditions, and policies, critical updates to services, that impact your use of BSN software, products, or services. This information is vital to your interaction with BSN, you may NOT opt out of receiving these communications if you wish to continue to use the Sites, or any software, products, or services offered in connection with the Sites.

The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us and what we require to operate.   • when you create a profile account with BSN

  • when you schedule for appointments with a Breathing Behavior Analyst
  • when you provide information for Analyst services ordered
  • we also request personal information when you purchase a BSN service through an Affiliate, or other businesses.
  • to operate the financial aspect of the business
  • Payment history or transaction history

You may elect to have personal information transferred to other countries, for example, when you want information sent for a service. If you elect to transfer your information to other countries this would be determined and done by you. BSN will not release the personal information you provide to a party outside the USA or within the USA other than what is specified in our policies and to the extent permitted under California law for California residents as well as residents in other states.

If you purchase BSN services through an Affiliate within the United States or outside of the United States you will want to review their Privacy Policy. When you register for BSN services through an Affiliate then information about your transactions and experiences will become available to that Affiliate. When you purchase service directly through BSN, we will not share personal information about you except permitted under California law.

We protect information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards (see security).

Federal law gives you the right to limit only sharing for Affiliates’ everyday business purposes-information about your creditworthiness. We do not collect information about your credit, affiliates from using your information to market you or sharing for nonaffiliates to market you. State laws and individual businesses may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

  • Publicly available information from government records.
  • Deidentified or aggregated consumer information.

Only you, may make a request related to your personal information.You may also make a request on behalf of your minor child.

You may only make a request for access twice within a 12-month period. Your request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. We only collect the information you provide us when you create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a request to verify your identity or authority to make the request.

Response Timing and Format

We endeavor to respond to a request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

For Requests to Access, our response will only cover the 12-month period preceding the request. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. If you choose to transmit your to an entity you may do so directly within your account. BSN will not release information your provide us to a third party, only you will be able to do that.

We do not charge a fee to respond to your request to delete information unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

6. Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not:

  • Deny you goods or services.
  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
  • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
  • Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

7. Other California Privacy Rights

California's “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our Websites that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Vermont: If you provide personal information, we will not share the personal information you provide us with non-affiliates unless the law allows or you provide authorization.

Nevada: If your BSN profile has a Nevada mailing address, we are providing this notice pursuant to Nevada law. BSN does not provide marketing calls. If we begin marketing calls in the future and you prefer not to receive marketing calls from BSN, you may notify us by email at info@breathingsciencenetwork.com, subject: DO NOT CALL. Also, when you register with BSN within your profile specify that you do not want to receive marketing calls from BSN outside of the service you requested.

8. Changes to Our Privacy Notice

BSN reserves the right to amend this privacy Notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this privacy Notice, we will post the updated Notice on the Websites and update the Notice's effective date. Regardless of changes to our Privacy Policy, we will never use the information you submit under our current privacy notice in a new way without first notifying you and giving you the option to opt out. Your continued use of our Websites following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
